Hi everyone -

It's been a while, and I assume that part of why that is true is that we are all doing what we can to make sure our patrons inside are getting some kind of services.  Thank you for all of the hard and needed work that you do.

I came across a bibliography on library services in California from 1973 to 2003, and it includes a section on Institutional Libraries.  The resources is available herehttps://cdn.ymaws.com/clanet.site-ym.com/resource/resmgr/imported/Bibliography%20of%20the%20history%20of%20libraries%20in%20California%201973-2003.pdf.  The section on Institutional Libraries begins on page 101.

I'm sharing this resource because sometimes I find that looking to the past helps to ground me in this very special type of librarianship that we do.  Please share something that inspires you in exchange, if you feel moved.

Wishing you an all of your patrons well.  I'm excited for us to one day meet again and share what we were able to accomplish despite insurmountable odds.

All Best,

Jeanie Austin
