Virtual Meeting?

Hi everyone -

First, thank you for all of your hard work as you navigate the stress of the pandemic inside facilities and continue to do what you can to make access to information possible.  I hope that, even without face to face interaction, you know that the work continues to be meaningful to your patrons.

I've been indirectly contacted by the State Library to see if our interest group would like to hold a virtual meeting (along the lines of the COVID-19 Networking Conversations that have been happening since March).

If we're interested, the State Library will facilitate the first virtual session (and, I believe, will host any continuing sessions we'd like to have).  The meeting will be via Zoom.  I'll facilitate registration, scheduling, and all similar details for the meeting.

I know this is a very hectic time and definitely understand if we're not ready to meet.  That said, I hope that it might help to break some of the isolation of continuing to do this work (both for librarians who are still going inside and for those of us who are not able to at this time).

Please reply to me or to the thread if you are interested.  I'll move forward with the State Library's offer if I receive interest from more than three or four group members (I'll start an email thread between everyone who expresses interest even if there isn't enough interest to warrant the meeting!).

Be safe, be well,

Jeanie Austin
