This is a friendly reminder to please vote in the CLA Elections. Voting closes Tuesday, October 17th!
Also, please consider voting for Andrew Carlos for CLA President Elect. There are so many great candidates running this year, but as a medical librarian, Andrew stands out from the crowd for me. I am the co-founder of the Special Libraries Interest Group and have also served on the Programming Committee with Andrew for the past 2 years. In both positions, I worked closely with Andrew to broaden the focus and programming at CLA to include special libraries and academic libraries. Andrew also has experience in public libraries and has collaborated effectively with many of his public library colleagues in CLA as a board member for the past two years. I know that as President of CLA, Andrew will continue to broaden the focus of CLA to include all California librarians.
