Dear friends:

The 2020 Association of Bookmobile and Outreach Services (ABOS) conference will take place online from Tuesday, October 13, to Friday, October 16. Those receiving support must agree to: attend for at least two of the four days (or six sessions); respond to an evaluation survey; and use their learning by sharing with or teaching their colleagues, creating short presentations, or other means. Again, employees who were furloughed or laid off because of the pandemic are also welcome to apply. Applyhttps://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2020ABOS for a scholarship no later than Wednesday, September 9, 2020.

The tentative schedule has been posted at https://abos-outreach.com/resources/Documents/2020%20ABOS%20Virtual%20Conference%20-%20Tentative%20Schedule%20-%209-8-2020.pdf. Please note that the tentative schedule is in CENTRAL TIME, so subtract two hours for Pacific Time. Sessions are generally between 10am and 2pm Pacific, but there are networking, vendor, and viewing opportunities during extended hours.

All applicants must have the approval of their library director. The California State Library will respond to your application shortly after the scholarship application dates listed above for each conference. Please contact Bev Schwartzbergmailto:beverly.schwartzberg@library.ca.gov with any questions.

This project is part of California Libraries Learn (CALL), and is supported in whole or in part by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered in California by the State Librarian.
