There's a booklist for the Summer Book Club, curated by the First Partner, with 23 titles for children ages 3-12. The Summer @ Your Library project is offering a bookshelf of titles from the booklist to every public library in the state. The Book Club also features online story times from the First partner throughout the summer. the First story time is scheduled for June 7 at 6:30 p.m. Pacific. Children can earn digital badges through Beanstack for reading the books on the list and taking part in the First Partner's storytimes. We encourage you to promote the First Partner's Summer Book Club to children and families in your communities. The State Library will be sending out information and social media message to help make that easier. This book club is a collaboration between the State Library's summer reading and early learning team, California public librarians and the First Partner as well as the First 5 Association of California, and First 5 California.
