Hi Jennifer,

I’d say anywhere between $300 - $600 is probably reasonable. Personally, I like to stick to under $600 so no W9 is required. I hope that helps!

Hello!

A question for the ASIG Great Brain: We are hosting a true crime-themed event this fall, and all of our speakers are presenting at no charge. Most are local or regional, but one is coming all the way from Southern California, and her response to my fee inquiry was to say, "Anything you can offer me is appreciated." Given that this is a great deal of travel on her part, what would you feel is a fair honorarium to offer? I don't want to under-pay her, but I also have to ask our Friends for a reasonable amount. Suggestions are welcome and appreciated!

Best,

Jennifer Harmonson
